Located in Kepez Dokuma Park, the Anatolian Toy Museum is a unique example of the transformation of the nursery building where workers at the Dokuma Factory once entrusted their children. The building, which was gifted to children by Kepez Municipality, now welcomes both children and adults longing for the past with its rich collection and colorful world. The museum draws attention with its 15 halls filled with 13,800 toys in 15 different themes. The display and arrangement of each hall differ from the other, offering visitors a different trip experience. On the upper floor of the two-story museum, in addition to the exhibition area, there is a movie theater and a cafeteria. On the lower floor, there is a library and toy and art workshops that cater to visitors of all ages.
The museum also hosts various activities to encourage mother-child, father-child, and family participation. It also offers training and certificates for older visitors. The garden of the Anatolian Toy Museum has some remarkable details. A thousand-year-old olive tree and another olive tree dating back eleven years are among the special monuments that add character to the garden.
The garden also features an electric double-car train, an archaeology workshop, a playground, a hobbit house, various sculptures, and a chess set. You can observe the garden of the Anatolian Toy Museum, which stands out with its different corner designs in the greenery spread over a total area of 5 acres, on the nostalgic black train.
