About Karadelik Cave

Karadelik Cave is located in the mountainous area north of Ciplakli in Alanya. Surrounded by forested slopes and rocky terrain, the cave offers a very different atmosphere from the busy coastal areas below.

The routes leading towards the cave pass through natural terrain, making the experience as much about the surrounding landscape and walking route as the cave itself.

The Cave and Surrounding Views

The wide entrance of the cave creates a natural frame looking out towards the mountainous landscape and, from suitable viewpoints, the Mediterranean coast in the distance. Its elevated position provides broad views across the Alanya area.

The contrast between the forest, rocky slopes and darker interior of the cave also creates interesting conditions for landscape and nature photography.

🌿 One of the distinctive features of Karadelik Cave is the combination of a cave visit with elevated views over Alanya and the Mediterranean landscape.

Walking and Natural Surroundings

The terrain around Karadelik Cave is natural and can be steep or uneven in places. Rocky ground, weather conditions and route choice should therefore be taken into consideration when exploring the area.

Vegetation can appear particularly vivid during spring, while other seasons give the cave and surrounding landscape a different character. The amount of time spent in the area depends on the chosen walking route, photography stops and how long visitors wish to enjoy the scenery.

What Makes Karadelik Cave Different?

Unlike some of Alanya's coastal caves that are commonly seen from boat routes, Karadelik Cave is situated in a mountainous inland setting. The experience therefore focuses more on walking, natural surroundings and panoramic views from higher ground.
