Should I pre-book a transfer or take a taxi from Antalya Airport?
In general
To get from Antalya Airport to your hotel, you can use the taxi service at the rank by the terminal exit, or pre-book a transfer service with a tourism company. When deciding which suits you better, it's worth considering the following:
- Distance and fare: As taxi fares are calculated by the meter, you find out the total at the end of the journey. With a transfer service, however, the fare is stated when you book, so you know what you'll pay before the journey. For areas close to the airport, such as Lara, Kundu, Konyaaltı and Kaleiçi in the city centre, a taxi can be a suitable option. For more distant areas such as Belek, Side, Alanya and Kemer, the longer the journey, the more it matters to know the fare in advance.
- Number of passengers and luggage capacity: Standard taxis at Antalya Airport are usually suitable for a small number of passengers and a limited amount of luggage. If you're travelling as a large group or with a lot of luggage, you can choose a vehicle yourself to suit your group size and luggage when you book a transfer.
- Cancellation, changes and refunds: When you book a transfer, you need to know your flight date and time and your flight details. If your plans aren't settled yet or your flight might change, it's important to check the company's cancellation, change and refund terms before you book. These terms vary from company to company. If you take a taxi, there's no advance booking, so you don't need to deal with these terms.

How long does a shared shuttle from Antalya Airport to Side or Alanya really take?
In general
In normal road conditions, the journey from Antalya Airport takes around 1 hour to Side and around 2 hours to Alanya.
On a shared transfer (shuttle), the vehicle may wait at the airport until a set departure time or for other passengers to arrive, and as passengers are dropped off at their hotels one by one, it may stop at several hotels along the way. As a result, your journey may take even longer than expected.
Some posts on travel forums mention shared transfers taking more than 2 hours to Side and more than 3 hours to Alanya.

With our private transfer service, the vehicle is reserved just for you, so you go straight from the airport to your hotel without waiting for other passengers or stopping at other hotels.
What's the difference between a VIP transfer and a private transfer?
In general
Both options provide a private transfer service. The difference is in the vehicle's interior design and the features you can use during the journey.
Vehicles offered as VIP have features not found in standard vehicles, such as wider leather seats, face-to-face seating in minivans and minibuses, screens or ambient interior lighting. Before you book, you can check these features in the company's vehicle details and in photos of the vehicle.
If your aim is to get from the airport to your hotel comfortably and directly, a private transfer is sufficient. If you'd like extra features and a more refined interior design during the journey, you can choose a VIP transfer.
Where can I find the details of the transfer included in my package holiday?
In general
The transfer included in your package holiday may be carried out by your tour operator itself, or by a local transport company in Antalya that the tour operator works with under contract. You may not know the name of the company providing your transfer in advance.
You can find details such as the meeting place and time from these sources:
1. Booking documents: Your booking documents usually state where to meet at the airport or where you need to go. Your pick-up time for the return transfer and where to wait may also be included in these documents. As this information can also be sent to you later, check the most recent time and meeting point you've been given.
2. Hotel: You can get up-to-date information from the information board or from the reps who visit the hotel.
3. Tour operator: If you can't get the information this way, you should contact your tour operator directly.
